6-24-19 The final edit for our Stephen King adaptation, "Here There
Be Tygers," is now finished. We're ready for festival season! Here's our
poster, featuring the great Penny Munroe in the lead. Polly directed,
edited and produced, along with Night Frizz Productions, Piscean
Pictures, and the indomitable Shane Meador. We're really proud
of this short film.
A fabulous review here.
Yet another rave review about the film.
An article.
Another local article. The reason Polly's not in the cover photo is
because Polly took the dang photo!

6-22-19 New Southern Films' Polly Schattel is on the Board at Girls Rock AVL, and the big showcase was held this Saturday at Salvage Station in AVL. It was not only a fantastic, sold-out show, the house was rocked by girls from ages 8 to 13 giving it their all. Polly is making a mini-documentary about the week and the show itself, to raise funds for Girls Rock AVL 2020. It's gonna be fantastic.

2-11-19 New Southern Films has been busy working with SWANA, or the Solid Waste Association of North America. They're a big company out of Washington D.C., primarily concerned with innovation and sustainable waste practices. It's a terrific example of working long distance; they send files to us over Dropbox, and we edit and upload in near-real time. It's a new day for video and multimedia production.
